First Time in Ecuador

Where would you recommend to stay for a first time couple visiting Ecuador.

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and love hiking and scuba diving.

Your Answer

If this is your first time in Ecuador, I would recommend you to visit the Galapagos Islands first. This Archipelago located 600 miles west of Ecuador is ideal for outodoor enthusiats.

Eight days visiting these Islands is a good time to enjoy all of its wonders.

There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, kayaking, biking, snorkeling and scuba diving. Check our affordable Galapagos Trips for tours and available hotels.

In Ecuador you should visit the colonial capital city of Quito, the nearby Cloud Forests of Mindo (perfect for hiking and birdwatching).

I would also recommend you to visit the city of Otavalo and its Indian market every Saturday, the cities of Cuenca and Loja in southern Ecuador are also beautiful locations you must not miss.
