Santa Cruise Ship and Galapagos Islands to Visit

by PAMELA
(GENEVA)

We would like to visit Galapagos in February 2012.

Which of the islands are the best to visit in 5 days, or should we stay longer?

The Santa Cruise is the oldest ship, but I heard it has been refurbished.

Is this a good cruise ship to use?

Your Answer

Every island in Galapagos is worth visiting. Among the most popular are: Bartolome, Santa Cruz, Floreana, San Cristobal, Espanola, North Seymour, Fernandina and Rabida.

According to all my customers it is better to take an 8 day tour because you will have the opportunity to visit more islands and see the most beautiful landscapes and wildlife in Galapagos.

The M/V Santa Cruz was built exclusively for Galapagos Islands cruising and was completely renovated in 1998, having been redesigned and refurbished inside and out.

The Santa Cruz has gained worldwide recognition for its excellent standards, including superb service, expert crew, the most knowledgeable multilingual naturalist/guides and menus that feature the very best international cuisine.

The M/V Santa Cruz Sun Deck features a bar and Jacuzzi, along with the observation platform for dolphin and whale watching.

As an alternative to snorkeling, the glass-bottom boat offers another opportunity to observe the marine life.

The entire ship is air-conditioned. A carefully planned Galapagos itinerary includes the Galapagos' main highlights plus a flexible program allowing guests to enjoy several alternatives for their daily activities.

In essence, an expedition to the best National Park, aboard the only ship exclusively built for exploring the Galapagos.
