Galapagos Tours for Children
The Tours for children program in Galapagos is called Young Pirates program and it is aimed for young Galapagos Explorers. This program is oriented at children ranging between ages 7 to 12 years old. It showcases a fun and exciting way of absorbing Galapagos kids' style. The activities in our tours are planned to partially ease the responsibility of parents during the expedition trips aboard Santa Cruz Ship, Yacht Isabela II and Yach La Pinta or on one of our combined Land and Sea tours at Finch Bay Hotel Young Children in Galapagos
You as a father or mother will appreciate the adult time allowed during conferences and dinnertime, while young guests participate in supervised planned activities.During our tours for Children programs they will enjoy specially designed menus and earlier dinner hours. Paper place mats will include labyrinths, cross word puzzles, find the differences, dot-to-dot, find the shadow and scrambled letters to keep the young ones busy while food is served.

Our creative chefs and kitchen staff have created a kids' continental breakfast with Galapagos muffins, fruit yogurt, orange juice and chocolate milk, and for dinners a choice of meals children all over the world enjoy, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and fish and chips. To keep the young ones eating their veggies, vegetarian options are always available. It is our hope that everybody enjoys this natural paradise and appreciates the efforts for its conservation. Thus, we thought kids need some type of interpretative recreational material, and we developed our own tours for children in Galapagos booklet: Young Pirates. In this learning while having fun with the book we cover many different subjects, which include: - Galapagos Means Tortoises
- Galapagos Bedtime Stories
- Dawn to Dusk in the Galapagos: Flightless Birds, Swimming Lizards, and Other Fascinating Creatures
- Life on Earth: The Story of Evolution
- We're Sailing to Galapagos: a Week in the Pacific
- Endangered Animals and Habitats - The Galapagos Islands
- Darwin and Evolution for Kids: His Life and Ideas with 21 Activities
We believe that these tours for children can give young explorers an educational approach, and this will be present in activities such as coloring (Multicolored Ecuador and Galapagos: Discover it and Paint it), Ecuador memory cards, maps (Where am I?), animal puzzles, Galapagos videos and movies for children, treasure hunts, Galapagos for children trivia, reading time, stargazing and conversations (What have I learned?).
